Semester Study Abroad

goldmanEmory College Study Abroad semester programs are administered by Emory College or by other institutions through special agreement with Emory. These programs are generally run during the academic year and may run for one semester or for the entire academic year. They provide academic opportunities that complement offerings at Emory and allow a high degree of integration into local culture and student life. Local living situations will vary with circumstances, according to the location and the language skills and academic preparation of the students. Through most Emory Semester and Emory Affiliated Programs, you have the opportunity to take coursework at universities abroad and to live with families and students from another culture.

If you participate in one of these programs you:

  • remain fully registered at Emory while you are abroad.
  • receive Emory credit for approved courses taken abroad.
  • take full financial aid and/or Emory scholarships with you.
