Emory Study Abroad Photo Contest
Submission Deadline: Friday, March 2
Any student who studied abroad between Spring 2016 and Fall 2017 is invited to submit up to three photos. All photos must have been taken by or include the student submitting them.
All photos should be original, high quality and in JPG format (high resolution of 300 dpi).
UNEDITED PHOTOS PREFERRED. MINIMALLY EDITED PHOTOS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
The World as Your Classroom: academic insights gained outside of a traditional classroom
Emory Abroad: photos of Emory students abroad (wearing Emory logos are a plus!)
Culture & Customs: capture unique culutral comparisons or observations
A Different Perspective: landscapes and cityscapes and mindscapes that changed your perspective
Global Headlines: newsworthy topics you observed firsthand
At the end of the contest, photos will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on their category, caption, aesthetic value, and technical quality. Winners will be chosen for each category.
All photo contest entries become the property of the Emory College Study Abroad Office. By submitting your photo(s), you permit the Study Abroad office to use them to promote programs in print or electronic media.
All photo submissions must be deemed ethical by the Study Abroad Office which relies on the NPPA Code of Ethics.
