Several Atlanta area organizations who work with the international community offer Emory students internship and volunteer opportunities within their organizations. Volunteer Emory
Volunteer Emory is a student-run office that provides service opportunities to promote learning about self and society, while striving to meet the needs identified by community organizations, many of them globally active. The Office of University Community Partnerships (OUCP)

The Ethics and Servant Leadership program (EASL)
The Ethics and Servant Leadership program (EASL) promotes servant leadership throughout the Emory community. It strives to inspire and support all Emory community members as they develop the power to serve and lead for the common good. EASL programs currently include: the Forum (an academic year program), summer internships, and an alternative Spring Break trip. Internships at The Carter Center
The Carter Center is committed to waging peace, building hope, and fighting disease. Interns have the opportunity to work for Carter Center programs that contribute to this mission. Carter Center interns make vital contributions to the Center's work. In turn, The Carter Center provides a substantive learning experience that serves as a basis for interns to explore their career options and to develop professional skills. Internships at CARE
CARE has its headquarters in Atlanta and offers a variety of internships. CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. CARE places special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Study Abroad Internship at CIPA
CIPA hires an intern every year to serve as an assistant study abroad advisor to the office. The internship provides relevant training for an individual interested in pursuing a career in international education. The internship is a temporary position that runs from June to May, and offers partial benefits. CIPA will be accepting applications for the June 2008-May 2009 intern position in February 2008.
